Why "The Senses" - somehow when I got the Roland Fantom, it kind of 'awakened my senses' and made me just that bit more creative. It is probably just a 'new gear syndrome' but long may it last. It is sometimes quite hard to sit here and practise, because my brain just wants to create.

This one started as many of my tunes do, just with a piano melody. Used a bit of the "TR-REC" mode for the drums and found an instrument called "SynOcarina" which I can see will be used more.

Is the SynOcarina the sound that comes in around 1:30? If so I get it, I'd use it to death lol. Beautiful portamento on it. The chord progression is great, particularly the arp the piano plays early, got me in my feels. Loved this one for sure, who needs genres anyway. PS I never know what genre to call anything I do lol.

Hi, Carl. I like the repeating motif and then how that upper chimey sound comes in (tech term!) I can see how it would be mesmerizing to play with this new toy. A wonderful escape this morning.
