Piano Jam 1

Liner Notes

I promised myself I would post more 'simple' tracks this time, just sit down and see what comes out....don't mess with it, just leave it alone. Oh boy, it is hard!

There is someone on here who does something like "morning piano", so I have shamelessly stolen the idea!!

One of the reasons I bought my Fantom was because of the piano sounds, I didn't have any good piano sounds in my synth before, now I have. It is a pleasure to just be able to turn on and play, and this is what that is. The Fantom allows you to boot up to a specified "scene", which in my case is 16 potential layers of my favourite piano patches, I think this is about 7 concurrent pianos, the possibilities are endless.

Hope you enjoy

Used to make this track:
Fantom pianos
8Dio Majestica strings (with lots of added NI Raum reverb)

Yes, nice piano dabbles. It's fun to have patches like this that make you want to play.

This is beautiful. I agree, it is really hard to not tinker after it's done. This sounds great, the strings are subtle but the perfect touch.

Simple often hits the spot, and even more so when its some good ol' key-ticklin'.
Great piano sound indeed on that Fantom - so deep and full from all the layers and the strings.
To me, ALL piano music unless its like...i dunno fast rock piano or something, is melancholy and reflective, so i use those words the most when I'm commenting on a piano-only song. All the time lol
But yep, that's what I'm feeling here with the different places you take the melody and that deep rumbly left hand. Definitely feeling the 'morning piano' here, but more of a cloudy morning where it MIGHT rain but it MIGHT be a great day or it MIGHT be a troublesome one.
