Liner Notes

I like to start my FAWMs and 50/90s with a song title generated by the Lana Del Rey Title Generator, check it out here:
https://www.vfiles.com/ldrgenerator

I accidently changed the title I was given when I tried to copy it and got "Antionette Misery" so I ran with it. When I was working on it Dori asked, "What's with funeral march?" which wasn't exactly what I was going to but I was going for a somber tone so I guess this works.

I'll probably play with the mix some to clean it up and have it make a bit more sense musical.

Some music nerd stuff:
- I took some premade midi melodies from Ghosthacks, played around with them some for the main melody. I used another one or two and altered them for the basic bass being played on the piano.
- Everything has been done using free VSTs on Decent Sampler. This wasn't my original plan but once I started I decided to see how far I could go with it.
- I added VSTs until I ran out of ones that felt right.
- I went through my list of plugins to add effects and if it didn't work for the song I moved to the next track with the next plugin.
- I spent about 90 minuets creating the track and 30-45 mixing it.

Oooooh, I love that percussion! The song is very cinematic, makes me think of something that ended so something else could begin. Beautiful!

Haunting overtones and yet peaceful mysterious feel as if exploring an old abandoned cathedral that isn’t dangerous but is full of shadows, spirits, and intrigue. I love the interplay of the instrumental layers that you have created and the depth of sound.

@gm7
Churchy and dark music...like a scene from an epic attack from a killer barbarian clan. The Antoinetters...lol

It is very churchy but not too dark! Certainly has an eerie feel! Just waiting for the big surprise!

So spooky! I wonder what's around the next corner on this journey. Love the clanking chain bits.

This would make for some perfect soundtrack music for the next Godzilla x Kong movie.
