My guitar was tuned DADGAD and this sort of came out of my fingers. Lots of farewells today, being the day after the UK General Election. Was also thinking about public figures dying and how that sometimes affects me.

This is a truly moving and beautiful song. It's complex in meaning but has a wonderful air of simplicity too. I love you delivery of the vocals and your guitar playing.

"I won’t regret you / Will forget you" is a stunningly beautiful line. Very nice work, welcome to 50/90!

Very cool tune. Being free is such a wild concept…I’m in the US where folks act like that the ONLY thing but if you ask someone candidly what freedom is…the answers vary greatly and tend to veer into abstraction.

Sorry for that tangent but you got me thinking so I shared lol

Really enjoy your voice and writing style. A really good , digestible, and concise dive into a topic that would be easy to drift into the weeds on. Cheers.
