What data do we collect?

FAWM may collect the following personal information about you:

  • E-mail Address
  • First and Last Name
  • Gender
  • Country

We also have your FAWM username and password.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you provide it to us.

How we collect your data

You directly provide FAWM with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register your account.
  • Log into your account.
  • Manage your profile, upload songs, or submit any other data to FAWM.

How we use your data

FAWM collects your data so that we can:

  • Facilitate your participation in FAWM events

FAWM does not sell, rent, or lease any personal information to third parties.

FAWM may share data it collects with service providers to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to FAWM, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. However, these providers collect, store, use, process, and transfer information in accordance with their Privacy Policies.

How we store your data

FAWM securely stores your data with cloud service providers and at onsite secure sites. The security of your data is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

FAWM will keep data pursuant to the following schedule:

  • Personal information, such as contact information, will be kept for as long as you maintain your FAWM account.
  • Non-personal information, such as anonymous demographic information, will be kept indefinitely.

Once the applicable period has expired, we delete data by securely erasing it from any storage media, via cloud service providers or at onsite secure sites. This process is in line with industry standards for data destruction and is periodically reviewed to comply with the latest security protocols and legal requirements.

Marketing

FAWM may use your personal data to contact you with newsletters and other information that we think you might be interested in.

Every fawmer is entitled to the following:
