The Everfree Forest is Rose (she/they/it) and Jay (she/xe)! We write #synthrock songs together, but it also tends to venture within the #pop and #folk dimensions a lot. How are you?

This is our third time around the FAWM circuit together - the first two times were with our old band Songs From The Moons (which is probably why you're following this account), but that band broke up due to creative differences, so now it's just us two.

At one point during FAWM, Rose wants to record something with her #4track, a Tascam Porta07 (very similar to the 414, except with soft knobs and a rubberized casing). It has a few problems, but deity above willing it should probably work for a cool demo. She also has a #mandolin now, so expect to hear that a lot.

Oh yeah - our influences are very varied and wide, but some of them include They Might Be Giants, XTC, Ween, The Beatles, Cardiacs, Logan Whitehurst & the Junior Science Club, Carol Cleveland Sings, Lemon Demon, Glass Beach, Car Seat Headrest, Marc With a C... and that's like, 10% of them within a few hundred characters. We listen to a lot of music.
