Hi, I'm Pat, I release music as Pat Absent, and I use he/him pronouns! I write, arrange, record, and produce music from my home studio.
I have one album out called "Tangible Absence" and am planning to release 24 more songs later this year, likely as "24 Messages."

My music is hard to pin a genre on as I personally like to produce a variety of sounds from track to track. You might hear #artrock , #artpop , #synthpop , #dreampop , #alternativerock , #postpunk , #newwave, #darkwave, #indierock , #indiepop and more in my music. The subject matter and vibes can get grim but I still aim to make my songs fun to listen to, the kind of music I'd like to hear myself.

I'm back for my second FAWM after winning year 1! In my first year I did a lot of arranging and production which was fun and useful for my forthcoming music releases but also exhausting and probably overboard for what I see as the spirit of FAWM. This year I'm hoping to not spend quite so much time and focus more on doing simpler sketches. I'm also hoping to do more #collaboration this year!
